Open Hearts. Open Minds. Open Doors.

Back in October 2014, 12 volunteers traveled in mission to Ghana, Africa. The volunteers who traveled were: Pastor Woody Eddins, Rev. Joseph Ewoodzie, Matthew Burke, Deb Clifford, Brian Denski, Michelle Ebert, Josh Rozovsky, George Schafer, Katie Schaffrick, Robin Shepard, Joyce Tullock, and Jill Wilson. They hope that you enjoy these photos and videos of their experience as much as they enjoyed their journey in mission.
Please click here to see the slideshow that was presented during the luncheon following the service on Sunday, January 11, 2015.
Please note: the slideshow is a large file. Depending on your computer, it may take a few seconds for the presentation to fully load, but it is worth the wait! Use your left and right arrow keys to advance back and forth between the slides. Enjoy!
Church services in Ghana are full of dance and celebration. Click here to see us at services in the village of Awombrew.
Our hotel was located in the medium sized city of Winneba. Click here to see our drive through the center of Winneba on market day.
At the end of each day, we spent time having fun with all the kids. Click here to see our fun with a home-made ball of plastic bags - our best was 27 times without the ball hitting the ground! (We didn't get that on video!)
We distributed some of the school supplies at Awombrew school. Click here to see the students proudly showing us their newly acquired notebooks and saying thank you!
At the Global Ghana Youth Network (GGYN) School, we built tables and benches with money donated from Vacation Bible School (VBS). Click here and here to see us in action! Click here to see the finished work!
The kids are the best! Click here to see a special slideshow of all the beautiful kids in Ghana!
